Kanban Board
Drag and drop jobs between status columns to manage your workflow visually.
The kanban board lays out all your jobs in columns by status -- Pending, Scheduled, In Progress, Completed, and Delayed. Drag a job card from one column to the next to update its status instantly.
Availability
All plans can view the kanban board in read-only mode. Starter and above can drag cards to change status. The AI scheduling command bar and conflict detection require Pro or higher.
How It Works
Open the Board page from the main navigation. Jobs are grouped into five columns:
- Pending -- New jobs waiting to be scheduled
- Scheduled -- Jobs with a date and crew assigned
- In Progress -- Active work on site
- Completed -- Finished jobs
- Delayed -- Jobs that hit a blocker
Changing Status
On desktop, drag a job card from one column and drop it into another. Only valid transitions are allowed (for example, you cannot drag a Pending job straight to Completed). If you try an invalid move, the card snaps back and you see an error toast.
On mobile, each job card shows small status buttons below it. Tap a button to move the job to that status.
When you move a job to Scheduled and it has no crew assigned, an assign modal pops up so you can pick someone right away.
AI Scheduling (Pro+)
If you are on Pro or above, the scheduling command bar appears above the board. Type natural-language commands to auto-assign pending jobs. When there are unassigned pending jobs, a hint banner shows the count and suggests using the command bar.
Conflict Detection (Pro+)
The board checks for scheduling conflicts (double-booked crew, overlapping jobs) and shows alerts at the top when issues are found.
