Refund Policy

Overview
This Refund Policy applies to all paid subscriptions to Person Trail, operated by That Fellow Digital LLC. By subscribing to a paid plan, you agree to this policy.
Free Plan
Person Trail offers a Free plan that lets you explore the platform with no time limit and no payment information required. There is nothing to refund on the Free plan. When you are ready, you can upgrade to a paid plan from your billing settings.
Cancellation
You can cancel your subscription at any time from your billing dashboard or through our Stripe-powered billing portal. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. You will retain access to all paid features until your subscription period ends.
Monthly Subscriptions
Monthly subscription fees are charged at the start of each billing period. If you request a refund within 3 days of your monthly charge, you are eligible for a full refund minus Stripe's non-refundable processing fee (approximately 2.9% + $0.30 per transaction).
After 3 days, monthly charges are non-refundable. You may cancel at any time, and your access will continue until the end of the current billing period.
Annual Subscriptions
Annual subscription fees are charged upfront for a full 12-month period. If you cancel an annual subscription within 30 days of the annual charge, you may be eligible for a prorated refund for the unused portion of the year, minus Stripe's non-refundable processing fee (approximately 2.9% + $0.30 per transaction).
Cancellations after 30 days of the annual charge are not eligible for a refund. Access continues until the end of the annual billing period.
Exceptions
We may issue refunds outside of the above policy at our sole discretion in cases of:
- Duplicate charges caused by a billing error
- Extended service outages exceeding 72 consecutive hours caused by That Fellow Digital LLC
- Charges made after a valid cancellation was confirmed
How to Request a Refund
For eligible refunds, you can request one directly from your billing dashboard under Settings. Alternatively, email us at [email protected] with the subject “Refund Request” and include:
- Your account email address
- The date of the charge you are requesting a refund for
- The reason for your request
We will review your request and respond within 5 business days. Approved refunds are processed via the original payment method and may take 5-10 business days to appear on your statement.
Dispute Resolution
If you are unsatisfied with our response to a refund request, we encourage you to contact us again at [email protected] before contacting your bank or card issuer so we can resolve the issue directly.
