Progress Percentage

Track job completion with a visual progress slider.

When posting a progress update, crew members can set a completion percentage to give Owners a quick read on how far along the job is.

Setting the Percentage

When a crew member posts a progress update from the portal, a slider appears allowing them to set the completion percentage from 0% to 100%. This is optional -- crew members can post text-only updates without setting a percentage.

How It Displays

  • The percentage shows as a badge on the progress entry in the job timeline
  • Owners can scan the timeline and quickly see how a job is progressing over time
  • Multiple percentage updates create a visible progression (e.g., 25% to 50% to 90%)

Tips for Crew

  • Update the percentage when you hit natural milestones (demo complete, rough-in done, final inspection ready)
  • Setting 100% does not automatically mark the job as completed -- use the Complete Job action for that
  • Even rough estimates are helpful for Owners tracking multiple jobs at once
