Job Templates
Create reusable templates for common job types.
Job templates let you save common job configurations so you do not have to fill in the same details every time you create a new job.
Creating a Template
- Go to Settings > Templates.
- Click Add Template.
- Fill in the fields you want to reuse:
- Job description
- Required skills
- Priority level
- Save the template with a clear name (for example: "Standard Plumbing Repair" or "Roof Inspection").
Using a Template
When creating a new job, select a template from the template dropdown. The job form is pre-filled with all the fields defined in the template. You can still edit any field before saving the job.
Templates save time and help keep job descriptions consistent across your crew.
Managing Templates
From Settings > Templates, you can edit or delete any template. Changes to a template do not affect jobs that were already created from it.
Note: Job templates require a Starter plan or above. Free plan users can view existing templates but cannot create, edit, or delete them.
Tips
- Create templates for your most frequent job types. If you run the same kind of work every week, a template cuts setup time significantly.
- Include detailed descriptions in your templates. The more detail you put in up front, the less your crew needs to ask about scope on site.
- Review and update templates periodically as your standard procedures change.
